Winter Structure

Winter Structure emerged from a moment of departure rather than design. Drawn off a familiar route by falling snow, I encountered this barn set between trees in an open field, its surroundings reduced by winter to essential form. The season revealed a precise balance between structure and space, geometry and stillness—an equilibrium that exists only under snow. What remains is not a record of place, but of condition, where winter simplifies the landscape to its most deliberate state.
